NOVME means no 586 virtual mode extensions (virtual interrupt flag
handling), I think. NOINVLPG is some 486 cpu cache instruction. I've never
seen anyone need (or want) to worry with such things except in weird VMs
(MS VPC??). I'm too tired to read up on it right now. I can only hope the
OP has a good reason for using them, though it may? not cause any huge
problems here, necessarily, just slower, but I dunno without further
testing.
