I don't have time to descend into the depths of ALSA's OSS layer and
look for bugs ATM, so native ALSA support will probably be the only way to
squeeze anything audible out of my box without frying it in the process.
Since Solomon doesn't have ALSA, Rickard or I will probably  have to put
the final touches on this, though.
