I think you misunderstood.  I was joking.  I was a programming tutor for
2 years, and I quickly learned that, when a student almost understands
something, it's best to just be quiet (ignoring his questions), and let
him get it himself.  So, although you thought I did what I did out of
malice, it was quite to the contrary.
