Just to be clear...this is _my_ pond, so to speak, and for the past
year or so, JJ has been a tremendous help in answering questions on
the list. He's also been a helpful in numerous offline discussions
about design issues. We all should keep in mind two important ideas.
First, remember that everyone here is donating their time. Both JJ
and I have spent more hours than anyone building FreeTrade up into
something that's usable. Second, please take everything you read on
the list in the best possible light. The written word communicates
less than the spoken word except for the Shakespeares among us.

It seems like your comment on this issue was not based on number of
installs, but on calling it version 0.9x. And I recall that it was
Jon Stevens who assured you it was stable despite the version number.

Cool. Did you roll your own solution, or install an existing open source
app? Building it yourself gives you a high degree of confidence in the
app, doesn't it? May I offer a solution to your problem of being uncertain
about FreeTrade? You could spend time inspecting each module. It's likely
to cost less than building an equivalent system yourself. Any problems you
discovered and shared with the project would be beneficial.
