It is funny, I hear people say the same things about me. So, now it is my
turn to defend JJ. If you actually knew him in person, you wouldn't say such
a thing. Just like if the people who knew me, they wouldn't say it. JJ is an
extremely patient and all around great person as well as a talented
engineer.
It is amazing to me how much personality is lost in email and how much
personality is read into email. My only suggestion to you to is to realize
that you do not know this person in person and that before you decide to
make judgements based on a few words posted to a mailing list, that you
consider meeting the person behind the keyboard first.
What you are attributing to razor blades is probably only the fact that JJ
doesn't have the time to pretty up his words to make sure they appeal to
you. Instead, he is simply answering the question and moving on. There is
nothing wrong with that.
