[Freevo-devel] ivtv & first play/record

I'm still having problems with my PVR-250 and ivtv. The first time I 
play a channel or record a program, there is no sound. This is not a 
mixer or ivtv bug since (a) capturing immediately after booting up gives 
sound, and (b) if I initialize ivtv (see below) before starting freevo, 
then I also have sound. Image is ok btw.

For now, I've put the following in my boot scripts to make sure that 
ivtv is initialized (pal mode, input, resolution, tuner and frequency) :

/data/pvr/ivtv-driver/ivtv/utils/test_ioctl -d /dev/video3 -u 0xff
/data/pvr/ivtv-driver/ivtv/utils/test_ioctl -d /dev/video3 -p 4
/data/pvr/ivtv-driver/ivtv/utils/test_ioctl -d /dev/video3 -f 
width=720,height=576
/data/pvr/ivtv-driver/ivtv/utils/test_ioctl -d /dev/video3 -r 
tuner=0,freq=3456

I'd be nice if freevo initializes ivtv correctly. I tried to find the 
bug but ... :-(
