Hi Bart,
Thanks, this solved the problem! I used the settings from the faq *(once=1 simple=1*) but with your settings *(once=1 standard=0x03*) I also have audio with the first play.

Hi Richard,
I tried posting yesterday but used the wrong "from" email adres and the mail waits in the freevo-dev admin list queue now.
I had the same problem, until I changed some options for modprobing the ivtv modules. I'm using gentoo and this is my /etc/modules.d/ivtv file now :
------------------------------------------------------- alias char-major-81 videodev alias char-major-81-0 ivtv options ivtv ivtv_pal=1 options tuner type=5 options msp3400 once=1 standard=0x03 options saa7127 enable_output=1 output_select=0 pal=1 add below ivtv msp3400 saa7115 saa7127 tuner add above ivtv-fb -------------------------------------------------------
I'm using a pvr350, so if you are using pvr250 don't load saa7127 and ivtv-fb. I live in Belgium but the settings are the same for your country IIRC.
