It shouldn't take much... are you having it do a process sleep while waiting or are you using a delayed loop?
I am calling time.time() in every iteration of a loop where I read a chunk of data. That's all... it is probably no big deal.
Yes, the card is more expensive but if you are serious about having a good PVR it is a good buy. The quality is awesome. :)
I'm probably going to get one. I had that terrible experience with the
new Athlon, and now I'm thinking I should just sick with the Celeron
and upgrade the part I wanted upgraded anyway...
Is the Athlon still sick? Take it back and get a new one? :)
