Great news.  I guess I was just playing the Devil's Advocate -- 
numbers like you quote seemed almost too good to be true, so I wondered 
if they were. :o)

I might buy a TV card just to play with this stuff.  I have a Hauppauge 
WinTV PCI -- but apparently it's not supported in linux.  (The 250 and 
350 are, but as far as I can tell, the PCI isn't...)  Now if I only had 
cable TV... my fuzzy version of NBC, CBS, and ABC aren't exactly good 
candidates for quality comparison. :)
