I just wanted to pick up this particular point and state that we would like
to have your feedback on pricing and licensing. If you feel you have
something constructive to add then this is the ideal forum for frank
discussion of these issues.
However, please bear in mind that the freeVSD project only exists because
time and money have been spent in developing it. At some point this
investment needs to be recouped in order for us to continue (a) in business
and (b) to develop freeVSD and any other projects we may get involved with
in future.
As a result we are going to charge for our VSD Tools, and we will always aim
to charge a fair price for any software we release. That is a fair price
for Idaya who have produced the tools, and a fair price for users, who at
the end of the day will make the decision wether or not to purchase our
software.
These tools are for you, so please tell us what you want :o) Help us to get
it right, after all these tools are designed to add real value to your
hosting plans, and reduce a lot of your customer support.
