You're right and I looked at that list several times in the past. In the end we
land on CFFI or a Lisp pipe. Interfacing is not the problem. Most of those libs
could be accessed by the same method as Bill used for gnuDraw
(https://fricas.github.io/api/GnuDraw.html). I also tried some from
https://www.cliki.net/plotting, especially "vgplot"
(https://www.cliki.net/vgplot) is noteworthy.
