I'm working my way through the substantial documentation as well as trying some new stuff out in FMX 04. Working with the new components looks like it's going to be great ; ) I think it will seriously speed up development once people get used to working with them.

I just re-read my message & realised it was a bit misleading :)
I don't intend on actually *using* any of the shiny new bits like V2 components, I'm just worried that stuff like the whole 'forms based' thing might mess up what I've been working on, either from a code point of view or a workflow one. I'm possibly just missing the boat on what that's all about, which is the whole point of installing it - so I can find out :)
If I can run them both together, then that's cool. I can work on my proj. in old-school Flash, then jump into '04 when I feel like experimenting.

I'm slightly worried that the new features may break my existing code, or learning a new environment may impact my current work.
Why would you want to add more complexity to a project mid-schedule?
