Why would you want to add more complexity to a project mid-schedule? Seems like not the cleverest move unless you have no choice. Doesn't matter what system/software you are using. New toys are always good fun, but if you are going to use them - start the project with them, don't switch mid way. Unless you have alot of spare time you feel like filling? JMHO.
