Imagine you are out in the forest on a walk. If a lightning strikes you,
that's natural. If a killer (let's say, an anti-semite) shoots you, is that
man-made or is it "natural because he's human"? Could the killer get away
in court by claiming his genes made him kill you ("Homo homini lupus"), so
it was natural like a lightning strike? Of course not. Would you want him
to get away scot-free for killing you? Probably not!
It was _you_ who blamed the culling on "natural forces" whereas _I_
suggested that humans (Predators) are the perps. Now you try to cop out
by saying that humans are natural. Well, if it's humans after all, then
why not say so from the start, why emphasize "natural forces" instead?
But it's good that you now admit that humans are the perps. ;-9
So the debate was worth it. :-D

Please read my words and don't invent strawmen. I wrote ( > > above):
"famine and the _spread of_ disease in _our_ _modern_ society ...".
How many hunger deaths in Europe and America have there been in the
last few decades, even in "remote areas"? And the spread of "4 horsemen"
diseases like the plague has been eliminated by modern society, or kept in
check. Spread of disease is NOT threatening civilization anymore, unless
we're talking of bioweapons like the crop-destroying fungus I mentioned.
Which are man-made.
So where do "natural forces" threaten our society, please?
But you insist that doom from natural forces is near. Can you explain that?

Do you believe it's a "natural force" that is exporting hundreds of tons
of FOOD per year from starving Africa to obese Europe and America?
(the cattle of the rich eating the bread of the poor)
Or is it a couple of corrupt clan bosses installed by imperial powers?
(Yep, these are the governments who "asked for help in population reduction"
in their own countries...)
> Dig your circular reasoning hole deeper if you like.
The circular reasoning is on your side: We are doomed because we are doomed.
Because we're stuck in the stone age (please only speak for yourself ;-} ).
> BTW I never said a word about bio (or any other kind) of weaponry.
Yep, that was your mistake. You forgot exactly the thing that really can
bring about doom in a modern civilization. And it's Predators who made them.
> Indeed, all of those are anthropogenic.
Yes, that was my point. I'm glad you got it. ;-)
