REH THE DANCE OF LIFE Chapter 9 of the book The Dance of Life by Edward T. Hall Ray, thanks for posting Hall's article. Music is not something that comes from the composer. It comes from somewhere else, God knows where. I recall being at drum dances in the Mackenzie Valley. The thump-thump of the music and the chanting of the drummers was hypnotic. Even the lawyers danced (though rather badly because they had so much to unlearn!).
