Look carefully at the ethernet port on the Mac. It's rare. but I have seen ports where something's been jammed into the port and popped the wires out of their tracks so they cross. Some delicate surgery with a straight pin fixed when I saw it, just lifting them up and popping them into place. It's more likely the ethernet port is burned out in the iBook, though. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
