Chiming in: I recently got a Pismo 400 G3 (hoping to find G4 550 when I have
the $$), 768MB, 120(!) GB--does fine--Panther at the moment, the
accompanying iLife, at least Tiger to come, bumping aside the Lombard I hope
to sell; should be great for slideshows & who knows what else (one of the
last things my mother's failing eyesight saw while she was still with us was
Rocky Top Sailing Regatta 2007 (2006?) on the Lombard--emotional attachment
to the critters plus getting use out of such an old item "warms the cockles
of my little black heart" so to speak--as you're saying, 8 years old &
rocks).

What uses are _you_ guys putting the Lombards and particularly Pismo[e]s to,
beyond "just" slideshows?
