I ran OS X.2.8 on two WallStreets for a number of years and then later 
upgraded to X.3.9 using XPostFacto.  Panther (X.3) works a lot better 
than Jaguar (X.2).  I've heard of people running Tiger on WSs with good 
results but never bothered to do it myself.  These WSs had 320 Mb of RAM 
and 40Gb HDs.
