Thank you, Fabian I have already followed this recommendation, yet could not wake up the PBk. My only resort is to turn it off, reset the PMMU & boot again. I actually have extensive Mac experience & came to the LEM as a last resort. I'm afraid it's a fundamental MoBo issue. Another member suggested that this model has reached an age when problems like this tend to happen. Desktops are kinder to their owners. Or more simply, a PBk size 15" gets subjected to enough flexing & shocks over time that circuit boards start developing "cold" solder joints or broken leads. Less so for a 12". If there are no other unusual suggestions, please consider this thread "dead". And thank you to those who volunteered help. I shall go to the G4 list in case I have a G4 issue.
