I have a ibook g3 800mhz,and what I did was dual boot with 10.3.9 for
primary and 10.4.11 for secondary, panther does not run a lot faster
than tiger, but it is a little faster, and about internet using the
speed worths..
Things you can do to improve flash:
*Update flash plugin,in 10.4.11 there is version 10,for 10.3.9 version
9,you can find it in adobe's page.
*Use G3 optimized versions of camino or firefox (just google it),I
don't know if there are any safari versions like this..
*As said, disable dashboard and spotlight too,you can use an utility
called onyx
*Update the ram, although you have almost the max mem, more mem
better, the max mem is 640mb is what I have..
I think that's all, some people in the net said that miro played flv
very well, although for me it doesn't even worked in panther...I must
try it in tiger..
The thing that makes me tiger dependent is java..some java apps like
jdownloader or wordrider don't work in panther due to java version of
it..
Dual boot for me was the option..each operative system doesn't take
much space..
