First reboot with the card in the slot. Then go into the Utilities  
folder and open Airport Setup Assistant. It *should* tell you that  
the Airport card is not configured. Go ahead and "configure" the  
card. It'll ask you to connect to a network. Set this up, then exit  
Airport Setup Assistant. Your card should work now.
