512MB, two sticks, one must be low profile, the other can be; but not 
all 256MB sticks can be seen from the machine, actually I have some that 
with an iBook are reported 256 and with wally 128, if I remember well 
hi-fi and low-fi ... and the right ones are bit more expensive on eBay!
