i bought a solid powerbook g4 aluminium 1GHZ 2 GB RAM 15 inch off ebay for £161.00 or in other words around $322.00. i replaced the pathetic and slightly worn out 60GB hdd with a 160GB. it's now running 10.5.8 leopard and the only problems i had were factory problems and there was a bug in the latest leopard, so it's apples fault there. it even bested my friends iMac intel core 2 duo 5 times! amazing machine and it gets the job done right. (hint) for ebay, check the persons history first before considering buying. AND also you can get faulty machines that arent to hard to fix yourself and cost alot less money. hope this 'elps
