Wolfram, Mine does have a DVD, but it's VERY picky. It does not like a lot of disks, and Tiger's just happens to be one of them. It might be that this disk is a backup copy I made, but I have misplaced the original and can't find it.
I'm very hard-headed, so I might find a way around it. Your suggestion seems worth a try. Somebody posted somewhere a recipe for dividing Tiger into CDs, but I can't remember where for the life of me.
