Go with a 500 MHz Pismo. I used one until just a couple of months ago,  
and the only thing that really pushed me into upgrading was the lack  
of good video. It'll do everything else you need just fine. You will  
need a wifi card, but they are pretty cheap and work just fine.

I have used and owned all of the G3 powerbook models, and IMHO the  
PIsmo is still a great work horse.

For cheap graphics work, if your version of Photoshop won't load (I  
see no reason why it wouldn't, but just in case), try Graphic  
Converter. I've used that for many years. It's shareware.
