Hey Wren, I'm a basic user of a G3 Pismo; recently bought it locally for $55 off ebay and spent a week trying to make it function and then sent it off to Tecnosuperstore/Charles in Dallas, also found at Ebay. Two weeks later plus $110 with fresh 10.4 and Fire fox installed I have an excellent backup to my now being repaired white MacBook. I nearly slit my wrists using my wifyes PC; this Pismo has saved my life. The power adapter went dead, but the really old battery will still do 3+ hours and the airport card cost me $20 from ebay. I joined this bunch of die hard G3 folks and am learning and loving my bargain Mac! Jim M.
