Unless the drive died along with the motherboard, then you can use something like this: <http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=2020&cpc=SCH> will let you recover the data off of the hard drive even if the rest of the computer is kaput.
This is a VERY useful tool to have; we've had this exact model in our office for about three years now, and it sees use weekly. It'll work with virtually any drive.
