A USB zip drive needs no support, it's just a standard removable device to OS
X...No Iomega software has EVER been needed to use a Zip drive.
Okay- I am sitting here looking at  three zip drive cds-- all from Iomega-
which have to be used.  Without being able to mount them I cannot tell you
which one/ones
 go with what but--
1) Iomega Version 1.0 for USB Application CD & user's manual

2) Iomega multi-language Mc version 2.8  Iomega ware

3) Zip Drive Iomega  Solutions CD.

As an aside- when I bought the zip module for the Wallstreet, I had to search
the web for...the driver- or whatever it is/was called and then an updater- I
have it showing on its desktop- or
would if it would come back to life.   So, none of the zip drives I have had
(a total of three of them) ever went straight to the USB port--had to install
some kind of software Or whatever you want to call it) before they were
recognized/installed by/to the computer.

The fourth cd sitting here says

4) VST USB Floppy Drive installation CD

Just for grins I will try re-installing the cds and see if anything happens
this (my fourth try!)

 Still yet more thanks  Sheryl
