Thanks. The cheeky answer to your question is my better half's brand-new iMac. 
But in seriousness, you're absolutely right. I'm just now reinstalling my 
work's 1·33GHz PowerBook G4. We still use a couple of classic apps (barcode 
software, Adobe PageMaker for attacking the few legacy files that InDesign 
doesn't like) and there seems no way of directly installing OS9 - I can't find 
the relevant dedicated installer disks. So I plan to do a clean install of 
OS9·2·2 on Pismo, then copy it across, once I've got Tiger happy.
