I have 512 'in that thing'. The only trouble, apparently, I was asking for was posting how pleased I was on the list. I'm still pleased with my install. I really don't know why it is garnering such nearly unfriendly responses. Not everyone is as fortunate to "never have problems installing tiger on a Pismo" - my post was aimed at those people who have had trouble - like some who have written to me offlist because apparentlyt they're afraid to write onlist and be made to feel inferior. If you are already pleased with your install and your method, more power to you.
