The Lucent/Orinoco WaveLAN cards should work out of the box with the Airport software. Cicso also has a MacOS 9 driver for their Aironet 340 and 350 cards. (I actually have one of those in my PDQ.) There is a 3rd party commercial driver which will support some other cards (mostly Prism2-based like the older Linksys ones). I think Belkin also had a USB adapter with Mac OS 9 drivers, but then you’d also have to use a USB card.
