OS 9 is great although sadly I don't use it as often anymore I still get excited about it everytime I get the chance. Its true that it really does fly on old hardware. I recently managed with some difficulty to get it onto an 20" iMac G4 and it zipped along even thoguh it wasn't officially compatible.
