Just want to say I appreciate all these responses and am learning a
lot. However, neither any of the power manager tricks nor even this
pressing on the thing to compress loose connections has worked. It was
running, I left the room, I came back and it was dead. The power chord
shows a green light but nothing happens with the power button, no fan,
no nothing. Anybody want a project G4 iBook? I am not a soldering guy
nor much of a moherboard swapper on laptops.
