It's been a while since I've had a Pismo, but I seem to recall that i had to push harder than I initially thought was safe on the CPU to get it seated properly, and that if the CPU was not fully seated, nothing happened when I pushed the power button. Hopefully, someone reading this thread can confirm that my memory is correct.
