Amber, You could try the following: booting up to OS X select any Word file, right click (or ctrl + click) and select 'Show Info'. In the upper part of the window the is a dropdown list, click on the little arrow where it says 'General Information' and select 'Open with Application'. Click on the icon of the Application (which should be the 'W' for word X) and the select the word 2001 program, which is either already in the list or you can select by browsing to your folder tree by choosing 'other..' (possible location: Application (Mac OS 9)-Microsoft Office ?). The symbol should now stand for word 2001. Finally click on 'Change All...' and confirm the dialog box. That should do the job.
Good luck. Hannes > From: Amber Rhea <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Hi all, > > I just got a new iBook (500 MHz) the other day, and so far I love it. > However, I have one question.
