I have been a Mac user since 1986 going from OS 4 through OS 9. I learned early on to read about the advantages of the system and wait for a couple of updates before upgrading. Based on what I have read so far I just do not see any advantage to upgrading to OS 10. In fact it seems more Windows-like than ever and to take advantage of any of its attributes (if any) I would have to upgrade my software. (Also it seems that Apple is becoming more like Microsoft. I currently have a Pismo and the primary applications I use are; AppleWorks; Filemaker; BluePrint; Quicken; Now UptoDate & Contact; Eudora; Explorer; Reunion; Route 66; Solitaire; Anyway, what am I missing?
