I've tried thefollowing, to no avail:
1) clicking on the workbook icon as usual, as I have done with that particular workbook for almost 2 years.
2) opening the workbook from within the Excel application.
3) clicking on an alias of the workbook
4) clicking on a copy of the workbook.
5) restarting the Mac several times
6) shutting down and booting up the Mac several times.
I unfortunately have no recent backup of the workbook. All other files, documents and applications work perfectly.
All advice will be gratefully appreciated.
TIA
Alain
