I just upgraded the Ram on my WS II 300 MHz to 512 MB
and freshly installed Jaguar (the earliest); now
running Firefox (latest) very well, with foreign
language support.
OS 9 is not present in any form other than to
initialize and format the IBM laptop HDD (OS X 10.1
Install CD could not see the drive!).
I will stay away from Panther - even with my 4 Megs of
video ram.
