I had an interesting one today--got a forwarded email thru a group website, with what looked to be an email forwarded by ebay, saying "I paid for the item, where is it, and if I don't hear from you I'll report you to ebay!" It was a legitimate item--and I was going to respond and send a copy of the response to ebay's support, stating that the organization who's email was being used has never signed up for ebay, and maybe someone was spoofing said address.
However, when I went to click on the response button, instead of going to cgi.ebay.com, the URL showed cgi.elbay.com. Damn phishers! They almost had info that it was a valid email account---tho I suspect they were hoping to take the ruse further and get into a paypal area later on.
