Ron, The Hard Drive (whether it's MAXTOR or IBM) has nothing to do with the mhz the machine will run at. Also, There are no upgrades available above 500mhz at the moment (and if there are, someone please let me know)...Also, a G4 400mhz should be fine for anything you'd be doing. Unless it's heavy DV work or big-time serving...
