If you have a 400mhz computer... I wouldn't even bother with a g3-g4 upgrade
unles syou're in a very, very special circumstance.

Because motorola has been so screwed up in the powerpc area for so long,
there just aren't cost effective processor upgrades out there right now.

Nothing over 500mhz that I know of (you may be able to overclock a little).
Even if they come out with a 733mhz upgrade, it will probably cost you
$800-$1k because even though they're very far behind, they are still a "new"
chip. And that is sooo close to the price of a new computer.

I believe right now dual 500mhz g4 upgrades are going for something like
$1100, and 500mhz g4's have been around for sooooo long.
