Hi Deirdre,
I also don't like to see the flag from Spain when I select
the spanish keyboard.
If you like to play with ResEdit, you can edit the flag and replace
it with your own one, as I have been doing the last 10 years. You
must edit the System File
Make first a backup copy of your System File, you can very very easy
destroy it.
In OS9, the flags seem to live in the resource kcs4, (in older
versions they were in kcs8 and the resources had not only the ID
number, they had also the name)
The british flag should be the reource kcs4 ID=2. You can edit it
binary or replace it with another one.
I am still using a kcs8 resource that I have binary edited in System
7.0.1 (and keeped over all the upgrades) It still works, altough a
fresh installed OS9 doesn't have a kcs8.
Please be very carefully with ResEdit.
I must still figure how to do that in OSX, does anyone have a clue ?
Rgds, Fernando
