Deirdre I have currently US, German, Italian and Spanish keyboards enabled. As I said, I have replaced the flag in the spanish one. In the german keyboard, I have interchanged Y and Z (to get a QWERTY layout) All that was made with ResEdit. (OS 7.x, 8.1 and 9.x) I never had problems having multiple keyboards enabled.
