Here's a "happy" KDS customer. I've had my KDS Avitron AV7TF for ~2 years now and it's still ticking. It comes with a 3 year warrantee so I don't expect it to fail until June of next year ;) & I run it at a non-recommended resolution 1152*870@75 (A/C office & it goes to sleep 5 minutes after I walk away from the computer).
(the reason I said "happy" is that the monitor only tells the computer it's capable of 1024*768 and 1280*1024 but not 1152*870@75 in its DDC information... I had to create a hardware hack (modified "SVGA port protector") to use it in OS 9 at my favourite res... OS X 10.1.2 (I think it was .2) fixed it and allows OS X to use 1152*870@75 as well without the hack).
