My exact problem is that I bought the offending
monitor ~18 months ago online, and had no option like
yours. I've had multiple failures. Well, the first one
was a broken power switch at three months. I'm
basically stuck using KDS monitors for the next year
and a half, until the warranty is up. I'm basically
stuck, and know well what a POS a KDS monitor is.

The good news is that they are sending me an Avitron
AV-21TF 21" Trinitron monitor as a replacement.
