Hi all I have a QuickSilver 733MHz 2001 (Overclocked @ 800MHz ) 512 MB ram, SIIG UltraATA 133/100 Raid PCI with 2 Maxtor 40 GB 7200 rpm ATA 133 hard drive's running in Raid. And it take's 3 min. to boot from start up chime to desktop. Is this normal time or slow for this Mac and configuration. It has always taken this long. A little bit slower before the raid Card but the raid card didn't speed it up too much (in boot time read write yes). Overclocking it to 800 very small hardly noticeable but really only did it for kicks cause I could. But it run's stable @ 800MHz never any problems. It run's great but think it's slow booting. Is there something I can do any suggestion's tip's are greatly appreciated. If in fact this is slow maybe I'm just expecting too much? Thanks
