Just wanted to add to the thread. I've been using OS X 10.1 since I bought this G4 867 in November of 2001. Not one single problem here. I've upgraded to 10.1.5 and everything is very stable and I've NEVER crashed. In November, I switched to the Mac after 14 years of using PC's and the Macintosh and OS X are a God-send! I LOVE using a computer that works (all the time) and does what I want when I want without crashing! Tim Collier, Miami PS: Oh, I've never had to do anything in the terminal to fix anything (not that I'd even know how). I've been following various threads here and bought Disk Warrior. I defrag using OptimizerPlus and then run Disk Warrior once a month. I haven't had problem one.
