I disagree. I only go into the terminal because I enjoy it. But for everyday
normal user stuff, there's no need to know any Unix. Case in point I bought
two new iMacs for the two top dogs at my company to take home for use with
their Families. Except for the initial set-up process they have been using
OS X with out any problems. That means no calls to me at home to ask for
help. Have to love that.
