Kyle, It is my experience in Wintel systems that this will occur with bad RAM, MoBo, cards, cables, etc. Have you tried pulling all but the CPU and doing that? If so, have you tried, then, pulling the CPU and putting one from a working G4 QS (speed shouldn't matter too much) and see if it repeats the errors? I know that's not the simplest endeavor (I did remove the CPU on my old QS a couple of times) but it could prove successful. I don't know what else might cause that kind of sound. Has AppleCare been of any help?
