Personally, I use one username/password combo for all "membership
style" sites, such as the New York Times, where there is no buying
going on.

I use another combo for stuff like online banking. Yes, I should change this
more often but there is a greater danger of my losing the password than
there is of someone wanting in on my teeny weeny bank account. There's
no overdraft line on this account, BTW. So if they take what little is in
there, it bounces.

The credit card I use online has a teeny weeny max so I'm not real
worried about that, either.

I don't use any software to batch passwords. I have a written sheet
of paper outside the computer.

I never let a site remember any of this info. I always re-enter.
